Tour Itinerary
Enjoy Skaftafell National Park at your own leisure.
This one way transfer from Reykjavík takes you to Skaftafell National Park. We leave Reykjavík at 07:30 and arrive in the National Park in Skaftafell at around noon. On the way we stop at a service station, which has a kiosk, a restaurant and toilets. Here you have enough time (about 25 minutes) to go to the toilet and/or buy a snack or something to drink.
Once you reach Skaftafell National Park you decide yourself what you would like to do and how long you would like to stay there. If you would like to stay over night, please bring your tent and sleeping bag.
At the service desk in Skaftafell National Park you can purchase a number of tours that take you around the National Park or you can enjoy the park on your own. Good maps of the area are available at the service desk.
The return trip back to Reykjavík (leaving Skaftafell at 18:00) is available as tour AH114 Skaftafell Reykjavík Express.
If you plan to stay only one day at Skaftafell National Park we recommend booking tour AH112 Skaftafell Express, which offers a return transfer on the same day to and from Skaftafell National Park.
