Tour Itinerary
LAND OF THE KINGS + TIGER SAFARI is a 16 day and 15 night tour
Day 1
Start off the tour by being picked up from your hotel/hostel.
Drive from New Delhi to Agra; upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and freshen up. Commence local sight seeing tour.
*You have the option of seeing the Taj Mahal in the evening or at sunrise.*

Day 2
In the morning after breakfast and checking out drive from Agra to Ranthambore.
In Ranthambore you will go on a four hour Tiger safari in the jungle!
Day 3
In the morning after breakfast and checking out drive from Ranthambore to Jaipur.
Jaipur is also known as the 'Pink City'.
After arrival and check in at the hotel in Jaipur depart for a half day excursion to Amber Fort 11 kms. from Jaipur. Amber Fort is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and intricate stone lattice work. You can get to the fort atop a elephant. This method of travel was used by the Maharajas that once lived in the fort.
There are a few other key monuments that can be visited including Jantar Mantar a large observatory built in and around 1726 AD as well as the beautiful Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which was built for the Maharajas harem; it is built in such a way so that women on the inside can look out but they can not be seen when looking from the outside in.
Day 4
The day is yours to explore the 'Pink City' of Jaipur.

Day 5
In the morning after breakfast and checking out, drive from Jaipur to Pushkar.
You have the morning free in Pushkar which means 'born due to a flower.' In the evening visit the famous Brahma temple which is a sacred pilgrimage site and the holy Puskhar lake.

Day 6
In the morning after breakfast and check out, Drive from Pushkar to Udaipur.
Check into the hotel. In the afternoon start some local sight seeing. Udaipur is known as the 'Venice of India' and rightfully so. Its palaces are vast, and opulent; with the most decadent being the palace in the middle of lake Pichola.

Day 7
The day is yours to explore the 'Venice of India-' Udaipur.

Day 8
In the morning after breakfast checking out drive from Udaipur to Mount Abu.
Mount Abu is a true oasis in the desert of Rajasthan. Mount Abu's hill stations give you a sense of the Northern part of India.
Day hiking trips can be arranged.

Day 9
In the morning after breakfast and check out, Drive from Mount Abu to Ranakpur.
Ranakpur is at the southwestern end of the the Aravalli mountain range that covers a large portion of Rajasthan.
Local sight seeing in Ranakpur.

Day 10
In the morning after breakfast and check out, drive from Ranakpur to Jodhpur
After arriving in Jodhpur also known as the 'Blue City' check into the hotel, freshen up and then visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. The other must see monument in Jodhpur is the Umaid Bhawan Palace which was completed about 15 years ago.
The evening is free or there is the option of visiting a Bishnoi village.

Day 11
The day is yours to explore the 'Blue City' of Jodhpur.

Day 12
In the morning after breakfast and check out, Drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer.
Get camel happy in Jaisalmer! You will go on a 1 night camel safari into the Thar desert.

Day 13
Upon return from your camel safari, freshen up at the hotel and then commence on a tour of the 'Golden City' in the middle of the desert.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaisalmer.
Day 14
In the morning after breakfast and checking out, drive from Jaisalmer to Bikaner.
After arrival and check in at the hotel drive to the Karni Mata Temple (also known as the Rat Temple, which is approx. 50 kms away).
Return by late afternoon to Bikaner and have a bite to eat then go check out the local sights.
The rest of the evening is yours.

Day 15
In the morning after breakfast and checking out, drive from Bikaner to Mandawa
Upon arrival transfer to hotel.
A tour of the many havelis - enclosed mansions- is planned, as is a lesuirely walk into the desert.

In the morning after breakfast and checking out, drive back to New Delhi.
