Delhi to Shimla reporting day at Shimla.
9 hrs. journey by the Jeep from Delhi. Check in to hotel.
1st Day. Shimla to Ram Pur (1400mts.) 5hrs.
Ram Pur is situated on the left bank of River Satluj. There is a Buddhist Monastery and a Hindu temple. This is the venue of one of the biggest trade fair of northern India known as Lavi Fair.
2nd. Day Ram Pur to Sarahan (2165mts.) 5hrs.
Sarahan is a small historical village where the historical Bhima Kali temple is situated.
3rd. Day. Sarahan to Sangla. (2860mts.) 6hrs.
The Largest village in the Sangla valley. Scenic Sangla is 18 km. from Karcham vaspa valley.It offers an enchanting vista at every turn. There are Saffron fields, Apple orchards and as one goes higher up lovely alpine meadows stand welcoming. The Kinner Kailash peak dominates the view from Sangla. From Sangla it is possible to visit the famous Kamru Fort.
4th. Day. Sangla to Kalpa.(2759mts.) 5hrs.
Recong peo and Kalpa are respectively the new and old district headquarters of the Kinnaur disst.They are famous for the dry fruits and offer the nearest of Kinner Kailash( Shivlingam)peak from Kalpa. Local wine known as "Angoori"is worth a try.
5th. Day. Kalpa to Nako.(3660mts.) 5hrs
.A little of the national highway 22, along a link road just short of Yang Thang is the scenic Nako village, The largest village in the desolate Hangrang valley.A little lake reflects the surrounding hills. The stark grandeur of the Tashigang Gompa& Tilasang Monastery is very famous.
6th. Day. Nako to Tabo (3050 Mts.) 4hrs
High mountains surround Tabo.More then the thousands years old Tabo monastery, which was established by the legendary Rinchen Tsangpo, is considered next in importance to the Thling monastery in Tibet. Richly decorated with Murals and painted stucco. The monastery has price less collection of Manuscripts and Thangkas
7th. Day. Tabo to Dhankar (3890mts.) 4hrs.
Dhankar is a very famous Monastery's rout from here leads to Bhaba Pass and Pin Parvati Pass across Spiti river through thee Pin Valley. It is the old capital of Spiti state.
8th. Day Dhankar to Kungri Gompa, Pin Valley. 5hrs.
Attergu village along the national highway22 is the point of access to Pin valley where the important Kungri Gompa is located. To the left is Lingti valley.
9th.Day. Kungri Gompa to Kaza(3600mts.) 4hrs.
A little deeper along the valleys Kaza noted for its historic Kee Gompa located at an altitude of 4160mts.
10th. Day. Kaza to Kibber (4205mts.) 4hrs.
Kibber has a famous monastery and is the highest village in the world.
11th. Day. Kibber to Takche, Losar (4079mts.)
It is located at the confluence of Losar and Peeno streams.
12th. Day. Losar to Batal(3960mts.)
Drive over the Kunzum Pass at the height of 6000mts.. a nice view of the Chandra river and the fantastic journey to chandertal Lake."Moon Lake"(4270mts.) then back to Batal.
13th. Day. Batal to Darcha(3300mts.) 5hrs.
It is a nice village on both sides of river Bhaga.It is also the starting point for the trek to Zanskar valley.
14th. Day. Darcha to sarchu.(4253 mts.) 5hrs.
Drive over the Baralacha Pass nice camp site.
15th. Day. Sarchu to Leh.
Drive over the two nice high passes Lachalang la (5065mts.)and Tanglang l (5360mts.) Tanglang la is worlds second highest mountain pass
This tour can be customized from Spiti To Leh by the 8 Days and from Manali to Leh will be 3 Days.
