Tour Itinerary

The Day Tour of Wicklow departs from the Dublin Tourism Centre, Suffolk St. Dublin 2 at 09.00 each morning taking the most scenic route through the Wicklow Mountains returning for approximately 17.00. At 10.30 your coffee stop lasts for about 30 minutes at Glencree Reconciliation Centre. We stop at the Sally Gap and Lough Tay for photo opportunities and see the wild bog lands and mountains where peat has been harvested for generations. We stop in Glendalough for a guided tour of the old monastic site and get an opportunity to make the mile long walk in the valley to the upper lake. We stop in Avoca (film location for Ballykissangel) at lunch time before visiting the Meeting of the Waters on route back to Dublin.

Hi, I went on the Day Tour of Wicklow with John and I had the most fantastic day. John was entertaining, interesting and humourous and he had a pretty good singing voice too! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire journey and all the stops and the music on the bus. John went out of his way to make everyone comfortable and involved in the days activities. It was such a pleasure to be in the company of someone who enjoys his job so much.
