Tour Itinerary
Depart Dublin for
HILL OF TARA a Royal Place in pre-history, were we will take you back 6000 years and explore this the Largest Celtic Complex in all of Europe, there are restroom and coffee facilities available on site.
We then depart for Irelands / Europes largest Anglo Norman Casle (1172)
TRIM CASTLE constructed over a 30 year period (this massive 20 sided three story high castle keep) was used during the filming for BraveHeart. Once on site we will be guided throughout our stay approx 1.5 hours.
Back on the bus heading East to Skerries Mill a Unique location with spectacular views extending out into the Irish Sea, breathtaking. On arrival a fully guided tour and lunch
awaits us. This is the only place in Ireland and all of Europe to have not one but two (including the GREAT Skerries Windmill & a Water Mill located on the one site.)
On our way back to Dublin we stop in Howth Fishing village a wonderful end to a spectacular Day Tour.
Enjoy a stroll alond the pier amongst the fishing fleet. Sample a bag of fish & chips, or if you wish depart the bus at this location for an enjoyable evening in this maritime village just north of Dublin with easy transfer links back to the city.
