Backpacking Tuscany in 1 day! by Tuscany on a Budget

If you are short on time and only have one day to try and see everything, then this is the perfect tour for you!

First Stop is the historic city of Siena where you will be enchanted by the architectural styles of the Cathedral and the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Campo, the venue of the famous Palio horse race.

After a 2 hours visit in Siena, we will stop for a typical Tuscan lunch 2km from San Gimignano.

Next Stop is San Gimignano, the famous walled medieval hill town where you will have free time to wander through the narrow and characteristic streets and check out the local shops selling the Tuscan delicacies.

Finally after a short ride throughout the Chianti region we will reach a local winery surrounded by rolling hills, vines and olive groves to taste some of the best wines and olive oils Tuscany has to offer.

Don't forget to bring your camera… the scenery from here is stunning!
