Tour Itinerary
You MUST contact us immediately after reservation and provide us with the name of your hotel in order to organise pickup service (central Rome hotels/hostels only) between 7.30pm and 8pm.
The tour follows a charming itinerary, witnessing the ancient origins and successive cultural and historical changes which characterize the city of Rome as it leaves from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by the Moses's Fountain. We will pass by the fmaous Via Veneto of La Dolce Vita fame, and Villa Borghese to arrive at the Trevi Fountain. Here we will stop for a visit and you can have time to throw your coins in the Fountain!. We will then continue to see the Fountains of the Four Seasons. From there to Piazza Venezia to see the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The tour will pass the Capitoline Hill, the Forum, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Circus Maximus and Tiberina Island.
The visit will continue up to the Gianicolum Hill, for one of the most beautiful and amazing views of the whole city of Rome and especially of the Vatican. Finally we will arrive to the Basilica of St. Peter crossing the Tiber and passing by the fortress of Castel St. Angelo
Please wear comfortable shoes as there is some walking involved.
