Tour Itinerary
You MUST contact us immediately after reservation and provide us with the name of your hotel in order to organise pickup service (central Rome hotels/hostels only) between 6.40am and 7am.
In the morning
The tour will begin with priority entrance to the Vatican Museums. Incuded are the main galleries such as the Room of Tapestries, Room of the Maps, the Round Room and the Rooms of Raphael. Then the amazing work of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel. Then a visit inside St Peter's Basilica
for the main highlights.
LUNCH: in a local restaurant.
After lunch
After lunch the tour will continue along the ancient via Sacra to enter the Roman Forum. Included are the Curia, the Temple of Vesta and the Reggia. Also see the Arch of Titus and the Arch of Constantine. Then you will have a visit inside the Colosseum to hear about the bloody gladiatorial games that went on for over 500 years! .
NOTE; Please wear comfortable shoes as there is some walking involved.
