Tour Itinerary
Mon - Sat Pickup between 6.40am and 6.55am
You MUST contact us immediately after reservation and provide us with the name of your hotel in order to organise pickup service (central Rome hotels/hostels only).
The tour will begin with Priority entrance - no waiting in line to the Vatican Museums. Included are the Rooms of the Tapestries, Rooms of the Geographical Maps and the Rooms of Raphael. The tour will culminate with a visit inside the Sistine Chapel, with the famous frescoes on the ceiling of the 9 Scenes of the Book of Genesis and the Last Judgement by Michelangelo.
The tour will then have a visit inside the Basilica of St Peter, built on the ruins of the old St Peter's Basilica under Emperor Constantine. Inside you will see the beautiful Pieta by Michelangelo, the Holy Alter, the sculptures of Bernini and the wonderful art by Raphael.
NOTE:
Strict dress code is applicable at the Vatican. No shorts; shoulders and knees must be covered.
