With its awe-inspiring gold mosaics we will walk you through to one of the main highlights of the Basilica - the Pala D'oro or golden altar with masterpieces by generations of Venetian goldsmiths, and universally recognised as being one of the most refined and accomplished works of Byzantine craftsmanship ad the most precious treasure. IMPORTANT - LARGE BAGS AND RUCKSACKS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CHURCH. SHOULDERS AND KNEES MUST BE COVERED.

The tour price does not include entrance fee to the Pala d'Oro which is Euro 2 per person and Skip the line entrance fee which is Euro 1 to be paid at the start of the tour.

Guide has microphone during this tour and we include personal audio system.
