Tour Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hostel early in the morning and drive 2 hours to Amecameca, a small town where we shop for food and spices at an indigenous market. Then we drive to the Popocatepetl-Iztaccihuatl National Park and start our hike and you can choose how high you want to hike up. When we return from our hike, we will make our way back to Mexico City and drop you off at your hostel.

Important Information
There are 5 stages to get all the way to the top of Iztaccihuatl

1st Stage: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes up and down

2nd Stage: Approx. 3 hours up and down

3rd Stage: Approx. 5 hours up and down

4rth Stage: Approx. 7 hours up and down

5th Stage: Not available. Contract a private mountain guide if you wish to hike all the way to the peak of Iztaccihuatl in a 2 day adventure

  1. In the event of cacellation the deposit paid is non refundable.
  2. Failure to make cancellations 24 hours before the commencement of the tour will result in FULL PAYMENT being taken from the credit card.
  3. Tour may be cancelled due to weather conditions. In this event customers will be instantly informed and the deposit paid will be refunded.
  4. This tour requires a minimum number of people for the tour to take place. Should this minimum not be met, customers will be instantly informed and the deposit paid will be refunded.
  5. The balance (total fee - online deposit) must be paid 1 week(s) in advance.
