Tour Itinerary
We start our trip in Downtown Mexico City and then you will take a scenic drive to Taxco, the "silver city".
Before TAXCO we will take you into the earth at the amazing Cacahuamilpa Caves, this are some of the most beautiful caves in the world that can also be seen by anyone with no need of special equipment or skills.Today, about 20 Chambers with an average height of up to 40 meters and covering an area of 1.5 miles have been spectacularly illuminated to display an awesome profusion of impressive and grandiose stalactite and stalagmite sculptural formations.
After been astonished by the mother nature we will continue our journey to Taxco, a colonial city with hundreds of years of history. The city tumbles across a hillside with winding cobblestone streets, tile roofed buildings, cozy squares, and a strong Old World ambience that has survived through hundreds of years. Visit one of Mexico's grandest churches, Santa Prisca. It was built in 1759 by French immigrant Jose de la Borda who literally stumbled upon a huge silver spring.
Taxco is known worldwide for its quality silver mines and shops, you will have the opportunity to see and buy art pieces from Mexican artesans.

We enjoy our Taxco and Cacahuamilpa tour. Highly recommended the tour but not the hostel world site as you cannot log-in even though I changed my password several times no success and charge me double I'm glad amigo tours send me an email to verify our tour. Sorry but I will never used your website if I will book any tour again. I learned my lesson.
