2 day 1 night PRIVATE desert tour to Zagora by GoMoCo

Tour Itinerary

A 2 day, 1 night desert tour, departing from Marrakech, visiting Ouarzazete and staying overnight in a luxury desert camp in Zagora.

The departure times are flexible to suit your itinerary and this tour can be started directly from the airport should you wish, subject to your flight arrival time.

The tour is customisable, should you require.

First Day:

We Depart from Marrakech at 07:20hrs in our air conditioned vehicle. Along the way, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, the Draa valley, and reach Zagora.

All through the tour an English French and Spanish speaking tour guide is provided.

We then experience a two hour sunset camel ride.

The night is then spent in a Luxury berber desert camp under the stars and in Berber tents.

The camp is a very social atmosphere, with guests gathering around the fireside to enjoy a tasty Tagine and swap stories with each other and the local nomads.

On most occasions, you are treated to a demonstration of local music with perhaps a drum party.

The Desert camp is well equipped and the tents feature real beds with full bedding. The desert camp includes on site toilets and on site hot showers.

Day 2:

After a traditional Berber breakfast we have a Two hour camel ride at sunrise to explore the area further.

We then start our return journey to Marrakech, stopping off at many highlights on the way.

Our journey takes us over the high Atlas mountains for the enjoyment of magnificent views of the surrounding country and to see the local communities who live in these mountains.

We return to Marrakech, arriving at around 17:00hrs or 18:00hrs

Accomodation in traditional Berber tents and Bivouacs with real beds and full bedding.

Half board: Breakfasts & Evening meals. Camel rides, as described.

Children under 10 years of age participate at 50% of the adult cost. Child bookings can be made after a successfull adult booking.
