2 day 1 night shared morocco Desert tour by GoMoCo

Tour Itinerary

A 2 day, 1 night desert tour, departing from Marrakech, visiting Ouarzazate and staying overnight in a desert camp in Zagora.

This tour is operated by a fully licensed and fully insured Moroccan tour company.

This tour takes place in small groups of around

10 people per vehicle for your comfort.

First Day:

We Depart from Marrakech at 07:20hrs in our air conditioned vehicle. Along the way, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, the Draa valley, and reach Zagora.

We then experience a two hour sunset camel ride.

The night is then spent in a standard berber desert camp under the stars or in tents.

The camp is a very social atmosphere, with guests gathering around the fireside to enjoy a tasty Tagine and swap stories with each other and the local nomads.

On most occasions, you are treated to a demonstration of local music with perhaps a drum party.

Full bedding is supplied.

Day 2:

After a traditional Berber breakfast we have a Two hour camel ride at sunrise to explore the area further.

We then start our return journey to Marrakech, stopping off at many highlights on the way.

Our journey takes us over the high Atlas mountains for the enjoyment of magnificent views of the surrounding country and to see the local communities who live in these mountains.

We return to Marrakech, arriving at around 18:00hrs or 19:00hrs

What is included:

Driver & transportation in a modern air conditioned vehicle.

Accomodation in traditional Berber tents and Bivouacs.

Half board: Breakfasts & Evening meals. Camel rides, as described.

What is not included:

Lunch & drinks Personal gifts you wish to purchase.

Children under 12 years of age participate at 50% of the adult cost. Child bookings can be made after a successfull adult booking.

Service level guarantee:

This tour offers financial repayments if the tour company fails to provide:

1. Modern, air conditioned vehicle.

2. Use of the air conditioning in the Vehicle.

3. Satisfying evening meals and breakfasts.

4. Visits to the following locations with following visit times:

Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - minimum of 30 minutes for sightseeing.

Ouarzazate: Minimum of 1 hour for sightseeing.

Zagora: Minimum of 1 hour for sightseeing.
