The package includes
3 nights at the Riad M'Hidou, a very comfortable and excellently furnished Riad in the Marrakech Palmerie
and a 3 day 2 night desert tour.
You have complete flexibility with this package to choose which 3 nights you stay at the Riad M'Hidou and which day you start your desert tour.....it's your holiday, so it is your decision!

Unlimited, daily complimentary transfers between the Riad and the Medina, and return...returns are complimentary until 23:00hrs each day.
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, our driver will meet you (at the Airport / Train station / Bus stations / Medina) and will transfer you privately and directly to your accomodation, The Riad M'Hidou.
Day 1 of the desert tour:
The Desert tour departs directly from the Riad M'Hidou at the later than usual start time of 07:30hrs (providing you with that extra time in bed or to take a leisurely breakfast before the tour).
We travel over the Atlas mountains, enjoying the magnificent views of the surrounding countryside below and we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This journey takes approx 2 and a half hours.
From there, after our break, we continue to Ouarzazate (approx 1 hour or so) for lunch break.
Lunch is available in the local cafe's.
From Ouarzazate, we continue along our route travelling to the beautiful dade's Valley.
This journey takes approx 2 hours or so with breaks for photos and sightseeing.
We arrive at our guesthouse in the Dades valley for the night, a property with a nice terrace overlooking the valley.
Accomodation here on the desert tour is usually in Private rooms with shared bathrooms, however, with this special package, we include private rooms with ensuite bathrooms for your comfort.
During the evening, we enjoy a local meal at the guesthouse (vegetarians are catered for).
Day 2 of the desert tour:
Breakfast is served at the hotel and then we depart on our journey through the Dades valley and onto Todra and the Todra Gorges.
With breaks along the route for lunch, sightseeing and general breaks, we continue onto Merzouga.
Later in the day, we see our arrival at Merzouga, a desert town with the highest dunes in Morocco located nearby at Erg Chebbi.
Our desert camp for the night gets closer as we enjoy a one and a half hour camel ride at sunset through the dunes.
Each person rides their own Camel on the trek and extra Camels are provided for your luggage.
Clients who do not wish to ride the Camels can be accomodated in a local desert guesthouse for the night, upon request in advance.
We plan the Camel trek for just prior to Sunset, so that we can enjoy the beautiful sight of the setting sun over the surrounding landscape of the desert.
Arriving at the desert camp, we enjoy a traditional Berber dinner by the fireside, spend the evening socialising with other guests and swapping stories with the Nomads and sleep under the stars or in Berber tents, whichever is your choice.
The tents are private, full bedding is provided and there is washing and toilet facilities present at the camp.
Day 3:
Enjoying views of the morning sunrise, we take a Camel ride to return to Merzouga.
At Merzouga there is a chance for breakfast and washing.
We then rejoin our transport for our travel through the Draa Valley, and across the Atlas mountains for our return journey to Marrakech, arriving at around 17:00 or 18:00hrs
With this special combo package, The Riad M'Hidou will securely store your luggage whilst you are on the desert tour, enabling you to just take what you need.
Upon your return from the Desert tour, you will return directly to the Riad M'Hidou to continue your stay if this is your chosen itinerary.
If you are departing elsewhere straight after the desert tour, then the Riad will ensure that you meet with your luggage!
