even if everything was cobered in original price, the guides wanted to charge us tips anyway... it was a fraud! aunque ya estaba cubierto todo en el precio, nos pedian propinas por cualquier cosa, fue un timo!

I booked this tour through Hostel World and they sent me an email asking for some information. I replied 2 weeks before arriving in Morroco. Got to Marrakesh, the night before the tour they send me an email saying I never got back to then , so my tour was cancelled. Very badly organized. Luckly all the hostels in Marrakesh are able to book tours for you. Don´t bother to book any tour online before getting to Morroco. Do it once you get there and you will even be able to bargain the price.

We were very disappointed with our tour. Communication with the tour company had been good, but they showed up 40 minutes late without acknowledgement or apology the day before we traveled. The driver didn't speak the whole tour! We had no choice where we ate, the Berber site was cool but so hot in the tents. The camel guide ripped us off, pressurizing for a tip.Everything on this tour felt really fixed and inflexible and that we were all part of a money making racket that couldn't be challenged

LONG van ride, driver was nice but took us to expensive restaurents, we chose to eat at cheaper ones. Berber camel herders expected tips and one of them was lewd to a female in our group. Also did not have vegetarian meal as requested. Camp is basic but has toilets. Desert is very small and only 3 kms away from the city- not real Sahara. Pack lightly in a backpack- you'll be carrying it on you on the camel. Don't bring a suitcase as there is no way to carry it to the camp. Get what you pay for.

This is a great tour to experience a snapshot of what Morocco has to offer. I agree with the other reviewer that it is more of a coach trip with a camel ride at the end. It is a long couple of days with lots of driving. However it is totally worth it. The Atlas Mountains are stunning, the towns and villages you see are incredible. The camp is very good, there are proper flushing toliets with loo roll, there are showers but it's too chilly to take advanatge of these.

Our driver was very friendly and nice. He actually gave my friend and I a CD of his and keychain just to be nice (as we were in the front and asked him questions about Morocco and the mountains and the language and so forth. We also listened to his music the whole time and told him we liked it). The only downfall was that we weren't informed of the extra costs involved - on one tour we were told after we had to pay. On the bright side, it is never more than 2-5 euros.

Probably the best £50 I've even spent!! Sat on the back of a camel watching the sun go down over the Sahara... definitely worth it! It is a long drive out to the desert but there are plenty of stops... not so much a tour out to the desert, more a bus journey but if you do your research first it doesn't matter. After dinner and some music from the Berbers, we stayed up around the fire after most people had gone to bed talking to them - learning about their lives and watching shooting stars.

Pretty good value for two days - you could go and get it cheaper in Marrakesh if you can be bothered. We were picked up & dropped off at the hotel and then taken to a central point where we swapped buses - mixed up with other tour comanies too -up to 16. Its a long drive both days - from 8am until 6pm with breaks and long stop for lunch & sites. Tour was brilliant though. We were put in a tent for 5 but asked to have another tent as it was pretty cramped. Camel rides were fun & food very good.

The trip was very cheap for the price since almost all is included. I really enjoyed it. The people taking care of us in the desert are very nice. They even managed to bring back the cellphone of my friend that she forgot up the camel. They are not like other Moroccans in Marrakech who always think about getting money. I even regret that I didn't have enough money that time to give a good tip. I would really recommend this tour.
