Tour Itinerary

Trekking in Rara Area, Nepal

Itinerary with tour explanation:

Day 1: Arrival in Nepal (Kathmandu Airport)
Pick up from airport, rest in hotel. Evening visit to Monkey Temple lies on the hilltop only a kilometer far from Thamel for Kathmandu evening Valley view.

Day 2: Whole day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
After breakfast you have sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley. The Valley is cradle of Nepali culture and civilization is the largest valley in the Midlands and certainly the most beautiful. There are seven UNESCO recognized World Heritage Sites within 20 kms. Those are: Swayambhu Nath Stupa, Boudha Nath, Bhaktapur City, Changu Narayan Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square. Today we arrange you to visit all above Cultural Center. Over night in hotel.

Day 3 – 18: Main Nature Tour
The Rara Lake, situated at an elevation of 2990m, is the main feature of this tour. Surrounded by magnificent conifer forests, it is Nepal’s biggest lake (10.8sq.km) with a depth of 167m. Its radiant blue waters are home to the snow trout, the only fish recorded in the lake. The park has recorded 214 species of birds. Some of the important species include snow cock, different species of pheasants, grebes, mallard, common teal, red crested pochard and gulls. During winter, many migratory birds join the residential Gallinaceous birds. The park is home to around 20 different species of mammals. They include musk deer, Himalayan black bear, leopard, jackal, Himalayan Tahr, yellow throated marten, otter, wild dog, common languor, rhesus macaque, and Red pandas.

Day 19: Rest and souvenir shopping
Today you will spend your last day of this trip in Nepal with shopping Nepali products as souvenir for your family and friends. If necessary guide us happy to help you for shopping.

Day 20: Drive back to KTM Int’l Airport for onward flight.
In the morning, after breakfast our airport representative will go Kathmandu Airport to drop you there. Your trip in Nepal (Nature Tour in Rara Area) is completed!.

  2. Failure to make cancellations 24 hours before the commencement of the tour will result in FULL PAYMENT being taken from the credit card.
