Suggested Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and taken to the Hotel. Your first night you will spend in Kathmandu. Bed and breakfast.
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
After having breakfast we will take you sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. You will visit many Buddhist and Hindu temples which reflect the local culture and tradition of Nepalese society. In the afternoon we will return you to the hotel.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara to Bijayapur
You will have a 6 hours drive by car/van to Bijayapur (20 minutes drive by taxi). O/N at Bijayapur.
Day 04: Bijayapur to Kalikastan (1370m)
The trek starts through the rice fields at Chautara, a stone resting place under the large banyan or papal tree. Then the trail climbs through the Bhramin and Chhetri villages to Kalikastan. From here you will have good mountain views of Machhapuchare and Annapurna especially at sunrise and sunset. O/N at Kalikastan.
Day 05: Kalikastan to Shaklung (1730m)
The trail forwards through Thulokot to Mathi Thana and after a short climb reaches Naundanda and then travels on to Lipini village. Then the trail makes a steep but short climb through forest to the Gurung village of Saklung. O/N at Shaklung.
Day 06: Shaklung to Chisopani
From Shaklung the trail drops steeply down to the place where you can see the police check post. Then the route climbs towards Chisopani. A short distance above Chisopani is a high knoll where there is a temple, which is known as Chisopani Danda. You will have splendid mountain views from here. O/N at Chisopani.
Day 07: Chisopani to Begnas Bazaar (610m) to Pokhara (820m)
From Chisopani the trail drops into the small valley of Rupa Tal. Continue for a short distance through the rice fields, then make a final ascent to the ridge that separates Begnas Tal and Rupa Tal and finally descend into the Begnas Bazaar. From here it’s a 30 minutes drive back to Pokhara. O/N at Pokhara.
Day 08: Sightseeing in Pokhara
After having breakfast you will visit Bindebashini Temple, Devi’s fall, Gupteshwor cave, Mahendra Cave, Barahi Temple and Fewa Lake. You will enjoy boating in Phewa Lake. Return back to Hotel. O/N at Pokhara.
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive back to Kathmandu (6 hours drive or 30 minutes flight as your wish). In your leisure time take a trip to Patan Durbar square, Changu Narayan Temple and others.
Day 10: Transfer to Airport for your onward destination. Farewell.
