Tour Itinerary

After breakfast, we drive to the Chagres National Park. There are numerous caves along the southern shore of Lake Alajuela. Once at the caves we begin a series of passages where one of the most intrepid spelunking experiences awaits. Here you will crawl through several small spaces which lead to several large rooms. The sensation of begin in the belly of Mother Earth is un-describable. Your heart begins to pound as you realize you're several meters below ground and all you have is your trusty headlamp. The formation are classical yet being there gives you a satisfy feeling knowing very few have dared to enter. After exploring several caves we take a much need break and have a box lunch on-site before explore a few more caves. After about 3-4 hours we hike back laughing much of the home as we decide who was the bravest in the group and who got more mud on them. Of course pictures say a thousand words so bring your camera.

Itinerary Chagres:

08:00 Transfer to the Chagres National Park.

09:00 Arrive at Lake the Chagres National Park.

and begin our hike to the Caves.

09:30 Arrive at the entrance of the Cave and begin spelunking adventure.

12:00 Box Lunch on-site.

14:00 Exit the caves and depart for Panama City.

15:30 Arrive at hotel

NOTE: All participants should be dressed for hiking in the cave, and should have long pants, long sleeve shirts and hiking boots.
