Tour Itinerary

We begin our tour from Glasgow heading north to Loch Lomond, the largest freshwater Loch in the UK. Our first stop will be at the picturesque highland village of Luss where you can stroll along the shores of Loch Lomond or wander into Luss Parish Church where you will see the 11th century viking graves that lie in the churchyard. There is time for an optional boat cruise to relax and enjoy the beauty of Loch Lomond.

After lunch at Aberfoyle we climb up through the dramatic Dukes Pass and make our way into Rob Roy MacGregor country and the Trossachs.

An area of outstanding beauty the name 'Trossachs' comes from the Gaelic meaning 'A Bristly Place'. We will make a stop for photos at Loch Drunkie and take the beautiful and scenic road by Lochs Achray and Vennachar to Kilmahog where we will stop by and say hello to our old friend Hamish the hairy coo.

Our tour continues through Callander to Stirling Castle. Known as the "key to Scotland", its location even rivals Edinburgh Castle for sheer magnificence as it sits high on a Volcanic crag which makes it visible for miles around.

There is enough time for a leisurely visit to Stirling Castle where you can hear the key moments of the history of Scotland and of the battles of Scotland's past, including Stirling Bridge where William Wallace (braveheart) defeated the English in 1297, and Bannockburn where Robert the Bruce did the same in 1314.
