Chapman's Peak Drive - Towering cliffs drop into the ocean on one of the world's most scenic drives.
Cape Point - Wild oceans crash into the tip of Africa at its most south-westerly point on this dramatic peninsula. It is situated in the Cape of
Good Hope nature reserve, where wildlife roams among the Cape's unique fynbos landscape.
Drive past Simon's Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St James & Muizenberg - picturesque seaside villages full of history and character.
Stellenbosch - an historic town and university campus cradled by the soaring Stellenbosch mountains. Some of the world's most scenic wine estates are scattered in and around the town. Stellenbosch is well known for its decadent and award-winning restaurants and vibrant nightlife and this is our first night stop.
Day 2 - Stellenbosch to Cape Agulhas
Kayamandi Township - A local tour guide will take you on a walking tour through this vibrant township. Learn more about the Xhosa culture and enjoy the spirit of ubuntu, the African catch-all word for hospitality and warmth.
Wine tasting - We visit a beautiful wine farm where you can sample some of the local wines.
Cheetah Outreach - This is an education and community-based programme created to raise awareness of the plight of the cheetah and to campaign for its survival. At the Cheetah Outreach you will get close to the worlds fastest animal.
Franschoek - The gourmet capital of South Africa celebrates its 17th century French Huguenot origins. The charming main street is dotted with quaint shops, galleries, street-cafes and restaurants, making this town the perfect lunch stop.
Cape Agulhas - This is the official meeting place of the Indian and Atlantic oceans. It's a wild, treacherous coastline that's said to be the graveyard of ships. Here you can climb to the top of an old lighthouse, walk to a shipwreck and take the necessary photos as proof of your visit to this special point.
Struisbaai - Close to Agulhas is Struisbaai, where you find the longest uninterrupted white beach in the southern hemisphere. It's also great beach for swimming and walking along. We will spend the night at Agulhas Backpackers, which is just 300m away from this wonderful beach.
Day 3 - Cape Agulhas to Cape Town
Speed-boat cruise - You can start your day with an optional speed-boat cruise. Fly over the water while you take in the perfect view of the long, uninterrupted beach. On most days, whales come right up to the boat.
