Your day with White Shark Projects
Please note: Due to tides and collection schedules, we can only confirm exact collection times at 16h00 on the day prior to your tour.
• Pickup and scenic transfer
we collect you from Cape Town or Hermanus and drive you to our home base in Kleinbaai. Alternatively we can arrange a car hire for you, or transfer by helicopter or micro light. Or for an extended experience of the area, ask about our accommodation options.
• Breakfast at our meeting place
our continental breakfast consists of yoghurt, cereals, toast, muffins and cold meats, tea and coffee.
• Your day at sea and a lecture on board
the skipper of the day gives a short lecture on the Great White Shark. He explains how we work with the sharks in the area. We spend 2 to 4 hours at sea, depending on how often the sharks visit the boat. Be sure to ask as many questions as you can think up!
• Diving and viewing
our cage takes 5 people at a time. Each person spends about 20 minutes in the cage. All scuba equipment, including 7mm wetsuits, is provided - you don't need a scuba license to cage dive.
• Picnic lunch on board
our lunch boxes are packed with bread rolls (with a variety of fillings), sweets, crisps and assorted juices and soft drinks.
• Afternoon tea
on your return to dry land, you're invited to join us for tea and scones at our Lodge.
• A DVD of your trip
We have a professional videographer on all our trips
