Day 1: Johannesburg to Hoedespruit

You will be collected by one of our friendly Livingstone Guides, meeting and setting off with your fellow travellers towards our campsite at "Porcupine Bush Lodge", which is nestled in the Timbavati Nature Reserve at the border of the Kruger National Park. Along the journey, regular refreshment stops will be made, heading towards some of our well known tourists spots, "The Three Rondavels" part of The Blyde River Canyon "Third largest Canyon in the World". We stop at Hoedspruit for all our shopping before we return to the Blyde River Canyon to soak up the picturesque scenery of the Canyon from a different perspective on a River Cruise, here you get spectacular views of the lush Canyon Walls, Water Falls, and nature both in and around the water's edge. With the arrival at our camp, you have the opportunity to relax, sitting around the camp fire is one that must not be missed, the best time to take in the surroundings of the African Bush.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

The day begins as the Sun rises, after a quick cup of tea or coffee, we head towards the Kruger National Park, entering at Orpen Gate, there we pick up any last minute snacks/refreshments for the exploratory road ahead. The day will be spent leisurely driving, and eagerly seeking out whatever game comes our way. Guides will stop as often as desired for prime photo opportunities, and to answer any questions. Our route will take us to our first picnic spot where your Guide will provide you with a breakfast, satisfying your hunger and preparing you for the remainder of the day's game viewing, hoping to get a glimpse of the infamous Big Five. Lunch offers a welcome opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy a little shopping. Then the rest of the afternoon is spent trying to find those animals that have eluded us during the mornings drive.

We then make our way back to camp, while your Guide is preparing your evening meal, you can get ready to journey back into the bush, this time in search of the nocturnal animals on the evenings Sunset Game Drive, it is here our long day ends.

Day 3: Kruger National Park

Another early morning start and after a hot cup of coffee or tea we head back to the Kruger National Park. This time we head into a different part of the park to see if we can find those animals that we missed the previous day. We stop again at one of Kruger National Park's picnic sites for a nice warm breakfast and again later for lunch. Slowly as the day goes on our game drive in The Kruger National Park comes to an end with the sun setting behind the Drakensberg Mountains. Arriving late afternoon at camp, your Guide will prepare one of South Africa's favourite dishes, a Braai!!! The night is spent sitting around the campfire, reflecting and sharing their experiences from the last few days.

Day 4: Hoedespruit to Johannesburg and Pretoria

A slightly later wakeup call on the last day, means our journey is nearly at an end. After a quick breakfast we head towards the Echo Caves, only an hours drive away. Exploration of the caves take about an hour and a half. We arrive early afternoon, depending on the traffic at your requested drop off destinations.
