Tour summary

Week 1

Johannesburg north to Botswana and Maun - Okavango Delta for a paddle in the wilderness. Chobe National park - game parks and boat cruises. Crossing the Zambezi by ferry to Zambia and the mighty Victoria Falls, on the river between Zambia and Zimbabwe - adventure activities.

Week 2

Livingstone Town beside the Falls. Lake Kariba; two nights on houseboats. Lusaka - game farm, here zebra and giraffe walk through the campsite. You can also join the trip here in Victoria Falls.

Week 3

Drive up the Great North Road to Shiwa House and Kapishya Hot Springs. Tanzania - Baobab Valley. Drive through Mikumi National Park. Dar es Salaam - Indian Ocean

Week 4

Ferry to Zanzibar Island - Stone Town beautiful white sandy beaches. Mount Kilimanjaro. Arusha - Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Kenya, crossing the Athi Plains with Masai. Finish in Karen, Nairobi, named after Karen Blixen
