Tour Itinerary

This unique experience will last a lifetime in your memories. This is your chance to work side by side with an experienced Mahout (Elephant Caretaker) and step into another world that focuses on the well being and preservation of the elephant population of Thailand. The location is near to North of Chiang Mai , well outside of the city. If you would like to join 2 days or 3 days training course and accommodation will be at the Elephant Lodge.

Give you a wonderful introduction to the Asian Elephant. You will learn about the behaviors and lifestyle of these elephants, also you can learn how to control and bath with the elephant as if you are a Mahout. All the while you will be able to ride elephants bare-back ride through the hill and jungle. Training is held at a beautiful mountain range in North of Chiang Mai. Program is conducted in English by our Mahout and professional elephant trainers.

One day Training Course Program:

08.30 We'll pick you up at your hotel

09.30 Upon arrival and meeting the staff, you are briefed in basic elephant language and control motions. You'll then bath with them and hunt for food & herbs.

12.00 We'll provide lunch prior to lumbering up the mountain to play in the mud pit and search for herbs & treats you then plant a sapling tree to insure continuation of our jungles.

16.30 We'll return you to your hotel/GH. after you've showered.
