Tour ItineraryThis Adventure is an adrenaline-driven challenge deep within the awesome beauty and calm of Mother Nature. Our journey takes place in the beautiful mountains of El Valle, a 2 hour drive from Panama City. As we hike through the jungle to Lovers Falls, we will briefly step back in time as we pause to view the pre-Columbian Petroglyphs known as the “Piedra Pintada”. Our guide will provide his interpretation of this mysterious artwork. We continue on, and after an exciting scramble to the top of the waterfall, our guide ropes us in and reviews all safety precautions. In order to insure our complete safety, a second guide will be stationed below to assist us in our first attempt.
Our first descent is an intense, 25 meter waterfall rappel, ending in the cool falls pool far below. After taking the final step over the fall’s edge, we will battle the powerful water flow, and struggle to maintain our footholds on the slippery rock. Once we have all successfully traversed this challenge, we face two more descents: an exhilarating, 25 meter cascade rappel under Lover’s Cave, and finally, a long, 45 meter cascade rappel. Before our final challenge, we will have the opportunity to rest and warm up as we enjoy a simple snack in Lover’s Cave.
