Tour ItineraryMeeting at the Radius Tours/Original Munich Walks office in Munich´s main train station (located opposite Track 32) this 2 hour walking tour will take you around the historical Munich Altstadt or Old City. Feast your eyes on the stunning architecture and savour the atmoshere of its main market, the Viktualienmarkt. Take in the beery atmosphere of a traditional Bavarian beer-hall and learn the secrets of Munich´s famed Gemutlichkeit.
But Munich is not only Glockenspiel and beer, it has its sinister side as the chosen home of Adolf Hitler who founded the National Socialist here and of Lenin who took up temporary residence in the artistic quarter of Schwabing.
The walking tour is not in the least strenuous and is almost exclusively through pedestrian areas.
The tour is guided by a native english-speaking guide.
Meeting Point
For tickets and the meeting point please come to the Radius Tours/Original Munich Walks office in the Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). The office is located opposite Track 32 and in summer is open from 09:00 to 18:00.
Tour Times
From April 1st to October 15th daily at 10:00am. Duration approx. 2 - 2,5 hours.
From Oct 16th to March 30th every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 10:00am.
