Tour Itinerary

Annie's Place Hostel - Alice Springs is the home of the renowned Mulga 3 day tour to Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon and The Olgas. The Tour departs daily from Alice Springs at 6:00am and seats are always guarenteed.

The Tour includes all meals (B/L/D) and camping equipment. The only added expense is the $25 Uluru National Park Entry Fee (which is payable at departure) and if you need to hire a sleeping bag a $10 cleaning fee applies.

The Tour can easily be taken in reverse if required ie: Day 1 we can pick you up from Yulara (Ayers Rock) and drop you off Day 3 in Alice Springs. We can also drop you off on Day 3 at the Ayers Rock Airport if you have secured a cheap flight to your next destination from the Rock. The only part of the Tour you will miss is the camel ride and the bus ride home to Alice Springs.

1st Day - Kings Canyon (Watarrka)

We leave Alice Springs at 6:00am & travel to Kings Canyon. The afternoon is spent hiking the canyon which includes lunch in the canyon. The hike takes in the north & south walls & a swim in the waterhole in the Garden of Eden at the bottom of the canyon. We have dinner while viewing the sunset over the ranges. Then its a nocturnal drive to our bushcamp just past Curtin Springs.

(B/L/D Included)

2nd Day - The Olgas (Kata Tjuta) & Ayers Rock (Uluru)

The morning starts with a healthy bush breakfast followed by a rewarding hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. After lunch its off to Uluru for a leisurely guided walk around the Rock (lots of stories to hear and much to learn) and a visit to the informative Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Then, relax and enjoy a healthy dinner lovingly prepared by your guide whilst watching the sun set on this amazing monolith. Back to our bushcamp for another evening of star gazing.

(B/L/D Included)

3rd Day - Ayers Rock (Uluru)

Wake up early and travel into the Rock. You can go for an optional sunrise climb after breakfast and watching the sun rise over the Rock. If you are not climbing, this time is "free time" to wander about and absorb this beautiful and spiritual place. Then it's back to Alice Springs along the highway stopping off for a camel ride at Noel Fullarton's. Home at about 5:00pm.

(B/L/D Included)
