No other company gives you a 4 hour guided tour at the Grand Canyon. It's a very easy walk and is a perfect break between the long ride to and from Las Vegas. We are Grand-Adventures.com and that is what makes us different from all of the other companies. We offer a guided Grand Canyon tour along the South Rim. We will walk along a smooth, paved trail and find excellent vantage points to take some terrific photos. You'll learn on first sight that pictures do not capture the full awe of the Grand Canyon. It transcends beyond borders and frames as sunlight and clouds brush shadows over rocks, trees, and earth, careful to never paint the same surreal scene twice. The trail is away from large tourist groups so we'll find our own vantage point to take pictures.

USA Hostel Pickup
We'll be there bright and early so you won't be left standing. Meet us at the front door.
6:20am
Sin City Hostel Pickup
You get to sleep in a bit longer than those at USA Hostel but not much longer! We'll be there as soon as we round up our guests at USA Hostel.
6:30am
All Other Hotel Pickup
We will pick up our guests who are staying elsewhere in Vegas between 6:20 and 6:30am
6:40am
Depart Las Vegas!
We'll hit the trail early so that we have more time to enjoy your Grand Canyon tour.
7:15am
McDonald's Breakfast in Boulder
We will stop at McDonald's in Boulder, Nevada. Eat as much as you like and get ready for a scenic journey through the desert.
7:45am
Hoover Dam
10-15 minute photo stop.
12 Noon
The Grand Canyon Walking Tour
We'll start your Grand Canyon walking tour at noon and enjoy a nice, easy walk along a paved trail. We'll also picnic on the rim during our walk and catch some fantastic vantage points!
3:30pm
Return to Bright Angel Lodge
We'll come back to Bright Angel Lodge to let you do some shopping, get an ice cream cone, or relax on the patio while others round up their souveniers.
4:00pm
Depart the Grand Canyon
We will leave the park around 4pm. It's the perfect time to leave as we'll be able to catch the sun setting over the Western Prairie on our ride home.
9:00pm** Back in Vegas!
Feel free to ask our guides to stop at any stores if you need groceries or anything like that. They are at your disposal so do not hesitate to have them accommodate your wishes.
HIGHLIGHTS IN DETAIL
Our goal is to give you the opportunity to become part of the Grand Canyon for one day. The truth is four hours isn't enough to appreciate the Grand Canyon but we hope it's enough to make you see and feel the full effect of it's beauty.
PICNIC LUNCH: We set up a big picnic lunch (American-style) on the rim for all of our guests. You will get a HUGE deli sandwich or wrap (turkey, ham, roast beef, vegitarian), fresh California grapes and cantaloupe, cheese, crackers, cookies, and bottled water. It's more than enough to eat and whatever we don't finish here, we'll take care of on the ride home!
MCDONALDS BREAKFAST: Eat as much as you want!
CD SLIDESHOW: Our guides take pictures of your trip and put them into a slideshow. We will mail it to you a few days after your trip or drop it off at your hostel if you are still in town for a few more days.
GUIDED TOUR: Learn about rocks, plants, trees, formations, and haunting stories about the Grand Canyon folklore!
SMALL GROUPS: We are able to move much faster and have more fun as everyone is part of the group.
PHOTOGRAPHS ON WEBSITE Our walk along the trail gives you the chance to see all of this.
It's Your Trip!
Our guides are at your command (and you out-number them 10-1!) Do not hesitate to have them stop at any place of interest along the way or express your desire to stay more than 4 hours at Grand Canyon Village. We often find that our guests like to stay as long as 5.0 hours! We would not be here if it weren't for our guests!
NOTE: Sorry, no luggage or large backpacks due to heightened security at Hoover Dam.
