:: Itinerary
Our guide will give you a great insight into the wildlife, rainforest and local culture as you travel along one of the most scenic drives in Australia. We stop at Port Douglas to visit the unique Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary where 180 different animal species of the Wetlands, Rainforest and Grasslands roam freely. Experience up close the endangered; cassowary, koala, tree kangaroo and many more.
Next we take a cruise on the scenic Daintree River searching for crocodiles and other wildlife before crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry. We journey on to Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef, for lunch and to explore the beach then we head to Mossman Gorge for a rainforest walk or refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters before returning to your accommodation in Cairns.
