Saturday:
See the best the West of Ireland has to offer. We start the trip on Saturday with a visit to the oldest Whiskey Distillery in Ireland. Then we make our way across the river Shannon to the West of Ireland. See famous Galway Bay and the Burren. Today we will visit the spectacular Cliffs of Moher with stunning views of the roaring Atlantic Ocean.Your overnight stay will be in a small village in the West of Ireland at a lake and beside an ancient castle (13th century). Live traditional Irish music in a warm Irish pub.
Sunday:
On Sunday you have free time in the morning to explore the haunting Burren landscape with its rare plant life. The Burren was formed over 300 million years ago at sea. Three islands can be seen across the Atlantic, called the Aran Islands. A famous Irish comedy series called "Father Ted" was filmed in the Burren. Watch the wild Atlantic waves crashing by the cliffs and afterwards, it is off to Dublin as the sun sets beyond the West ...
