Cappadocia is undoubtedly Turkey’s most picturesque region. With a history that dates back well before Christ. The ornate rock formations and phelic chimneys that spiral the landscape make the valleys idyllic. The historical churches ravaged during the crusades and the Kaymaklı Underground City built as a retreat from the Romans. 9 perfect days including domestic flights to and from Istanbul, an Istanbul City tour, fantastic accommodation. 3 solid days of speed and adrenaline for the 12th round of the Formula one season.

Day 1 - Sunday Aug 19th - Istanbul Arrivals
Dinner Included
Welcome to Turkey. Arrival into Istanbul. Transfer from airport & check in to your hotel. Tonight we have a welcome dinner. You will meet our friendly crew and other travelers while enjoying Turkish Food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul at night.
Day 2 - Monday Aug 20th – Istanbul to Cappadocia
Breakfast and Dinner Included
After breakfast we will transfer to the Atatürk Airport for our domestic flight to Cappadocia. On arrival we will check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours.
Tonight we have the optional activity of the Turkish Night which should not be missed. Includes (Whirling Dervishes, Belly dancers, Turkish cuisine and wine, live music)
Day 3 - Tuesday Aug 21st - Cappadocia
Breakfast and Dinner Included
After breakfast we shall start our Cappadocia tour including Göreme Open Air Museum, Dervent Valley, Pasabağ Valley. After lunch, we will make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like carpet weaving, leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid being hassled which will enable you enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. Free evening. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4 – Wednesday Aug 22nd – Cappadocia to Istanbul

After breakfast we head to one of the most interesting sites of Cappadocia: Kaymaklı Underground City. The Christians hid from the armies of Rome and the raids of hostile tribes in these self sufficient cities in which there were halls for stocks of crop, barns, rooms, kitchens & ventilation channels. The second part of our Cappadocia Tour will include Uçhisar Castle, Avcılar, and Pidgeon Valley. After the tour we will rest at the hotel and have a free afternoon until transfers to the airport for our flight back to Istanbul.
Before the tour there is an option to go hot air ballooning:
The Hot Air Balloon descends at sunrise and the ride lasts for approximately 45 minutes; in which we will float through valleys, between fairy chimneys and caves. The balloon will rise approximately 1000 feet in which you will experience the extraordinary views Cappadocia has to offer. On landing, champagne will be served to toast arrival. It is a fantastic journey made by the eccentric landscapes and the rising sun.
Day 5 - Thursday Aug 23rd Istanbul City Tour

we depart at 09:00 for the Istanbul city tour. We will begin with ancient Hippodrome, which was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. We will then continue with Sultanahmet Mosque across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. It is also known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decorated with blue Iznik tiles, we then head to our last stop which is the famous Hagia Sophia. This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.
After we will make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like carpet weaving, leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid being hassled which will enable you enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen.
After the tour you have the opportunity to experience The Bosphorus by cruising on the boat which is one of our optional activities. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificient views of Bosphorous which is connecting Asia to Europe. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul
Day 6 – Friday Aug 24th Istanbul Grand Prix

First day of racing.
You will be escorted to the event by private air-conditioned bus. Your ticket will be for the Triburne 1 Grand Stand on the 1st corner where we are situated as a group and have prime viewing. At the end of the day, you will be collected by private air-conditioned bus and returned to the hotel.
Tonight we have the optional activity of the Turkish Night which should not be missed. Includes (Whirling Dervishes, Belly dancers, Turkish cuisine and wine, live music)
Day 7 - Saturday Aug 25th Istanbul Grand Prix

Second day of racing and Qualifying
you will be escorted to the event by private air-conditioned bus. At the end of the day, you will be collected by private air-conditioned bus and returned to the hotel. Option to experience the Traditional Turkish Bath in this evening.
Hamam, that's the word for the Turkish bath – A traditional bath dating back centuries. Consists of a full body wash and scrub, massage, and an out of this world feeling
Day 8 - Sunday Aug 26th Istanbul Grand Prix

you will be escorted to the event by private air-conditioned bus. Once again at the end of the day, you will be collected by private air-conditioned bus and returned to the hotel
For those leaving us early, airport transfers will be running Sunday evening
Day 9 - Monday Aug 27th Departures
