Tour ItineraryA 2 day, 1 night desert tour, departing from Marrakech, visiting Ouarzazete and staying overnight in a desert camp in Zagora.
The departure times are flexible to suit your itinerary.
The tour is customisable, should you require.
First Day:
We Depart from Marrakech at 07:00hrs in our air conditioned vehicle. Along the way, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, the Drâa valley, and reach Zagora.
We then experience a two hour sunset camel ride.
The night is then spent in a berber desert camp under the stars or in tents.
The camp is a very social atmosphere, with guests gathering around the fireside to enjoy a tasty Tagine and swap stories with each other and the local nomads.
On most occasions, you are treated to a demonstration of local music with perhaps a drum party.
The Desert camp is well equipped and all bedding is supplied.
Day 2:
After a traditional Berber breakfast we have a Two hour camel ride at sunrise to explore the area further.
We then start our return journey to Marrakech, stopping off at many highlights on the way.
Our journey takes us over the high Atlas mountains for the enjoyment of magnificent views of the surrounding country and to see the local communities who live in these mountains.
We return to Marrakech, arriving at around 17:00hrs or 18:00hrs

English & french speaking guide to show you around the area and tell you about the communities.
Accomodation in traditional Berber tents and Bivouacs.
Half board: Breakfasts & Evening meals. Camel rides, as described.
What is not included:
Lunch & drinks Personal gifts you wish to purchase.
An additional deposit will be charged to your card after you make your booking. This results in the deposit level required as 20% of the total reservation cost.
The 80% balance is payable upon arrival in Marrakech. |
