4 DAYS TURKISH COOKING TOUR ISTANBUL ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Istanbul - Arrival Day

(Welcome dinner included)

Welcome to Turkey, arrival into Istanbul. Transfer from airport and check in to your hotel, you will have a welcome drink and a chat with gourmet experts in Turkish cuisine. Tonight you will have a welcome dinner, be introduced to our friendly crew and other travelers while enjoying traditional Turkish food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul at night.

Day 2 - Turkish Cooking Lesson Istanbul

After a morning orientation sightseeing tour of Istanbul, you participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: Preparing lunch which you will enjoy! After the cooking lesson, you will eat what you cooked. After lunch visit to TOPKAPI PALACE. The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE: Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME: Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 - Istanbul Cooking Lesson

After breakfast, you will visit Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise by boat along the waterway seperating Europe and Asia, then visit the famous Egyptian (Spice) Bazaar, with elaborate displays of herbs, spices, dried fruits, nuts and other snacks and ingredients. Then we will go to one of the city's most famous baklava shops to watch the masters produce this favorite Turkish sweet. This will be a good experience for you. In the afternoon you will go back to the kitchen for another cooking lesson followed by tea, coffee and goodies.

Day 4 - Istanbul - End of Tour
