Tour Itinerary
Day 1:
You will be picked up 1 hour before train departure for transfer to the train station. Night train (soft sleeper with A/C) to Lao Cai. The night train leaves at 21.15
Day 2:
You will be picked up from Lao Cai station and have shared bus to Sapa. Check-in Goldsea hotel to have a shower and relax. Now you have time to walk around Sapa town to see some small market in the area. In the afternoon, you take a short trek to Cat Cat Village which is home of Black H'Mong people, they are one of the biggest and poorest minority groups in Sapa. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing.Stay overnight at Goldsea hotel.

Day 3:
After breakfast in the hotel, trekking to Lao Chai village, on the way you will stopover for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, you continue your trek to Ta Van village to visit Zay people. Zay is fairly small monority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green colour. Dinner and stay overnight on stilt house.

Day 4:
Today we will spend time to walk to Giang Ta Chai village where you can see Red Dao people, the women of Red Dao have very colourfull red embroideries and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of the women have shaved off their eye brows because a heirless face is considered by the the Red Dao people to be very beautifull. Stop over for lunch. A Jeep pick you up from Giang Ta Chai to Sapa. Check-in Goldsea hotel to take a shower. A shared bus will take you to train station. Night train back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi early morning. The tour ends at Hanoi train station.
