Tour of My Tho islands in Mekong Delta, 1 day

My Tho (about 2-hour drive from HCMC), is the metropolis of Tien Giang - the first province of the Mekong Delta.

You will take a motor-boat excursion on the Mekong river then visit a workshop of handicrafts made from coconut peel, an orchard islet to enjoy seasonal tropical fruits, honey tea and traditional folk music performed by local singers. After a ride by horse cart on a quiet village road for a stop at a coconut candy workshop, you will ride on hand-rowed sampans along small canals to go to Phoenix Islet (Con Phung) to enjoy lunch with Vietnamese food.
