Well-known for its eccentric bathrooms, Jonathan’s Angels is a kitschy and cool bar offering a generous drinks menu which includes beers and cocktails.

I lived for 1 year in Rome... even if is NOT typical I loved Trinity College Pub close to Via del Corso, especially during the night, not so many tourists but an "international" environment

This very popular Irish bar serves Guinness along with a variety of beers, cocktails and lots more. Here you’ll be able to catch a number of international sporting events and plenty of other events. Live DJs provide the music here.

Finnegan’s is recommended by: Marco Albanese.
Another of Rome’s numerous Irish bars, Finnegan’s stands out as one of the more authentic. This Irish owned bar serves up Guinness along with plenty of other drinks. There’s a pool table, and lots of the top sporting events are shown throughout the bar.

Bar San Calisto

Bar Calisto in Piazza Calisto is great place in Trastevere to get a beer!
A very popular bar with locals, Bar San Calisto teams a pretty no frills appearance with a large and very reasonably priced drinks menu. Its boho atmosphere attracts a pretty diverse crowd. If you want to try something different, check out the affogato which is ice-cream swimming in booze or if you want to go non-alcoholic this bar is known for serving some of the best hot chocolate in Rome.

Emporio alla Pace

Cocktail bar, bookstore and coffee shop, Emporio Alla Pace is a pretty well-liked spot thanks to its peaceful daytime atmosphere and tasty, cheap cocktails at night. Special events featuring a variety of authors are a regular occurrence here too.

"Ice Bar" close to Colosseum, its -5 inside and they give an opportunity to drink as much as you wish for free , entrance 20 Euro)) perfect bar, just a bit cold until u are not get drunk xD

The name says it all here, as in the Ice Bar you’ll find that everything is in fact made out of ice including the bar, the glasses and the seats. Inside the temperature is kept at a balmy -5ºC Cocktails, beers and more are on offer from the bar and there is an admission fee.

This bar offers numerous drinks offers, while the music is provided by live DJs. Located close to a hostel, this is a popular party spot.

Harry’s Bar is an American style pub, restaurant and piano bar. This long running bar is a popular spot thanks to its live music and varied drinks selection including numerous cocktails.
