The best restaurant is at "al timon" in canaregio! good relaxed vibe with awesome food!

    Hostelworld.com says:

This bar and restaurant serves up some of the most delicious ‘cicchetti’ in Venice. ‘Cicchetti’ are small snacks or side dishes, not unlike tapas, and here you’ll find people enjoying a wide variety of these tasty treats at the tables inside and outside Al Timon.

  • Algiubagio

    Susan Kilner says:

Algiubagio, Fondamente Nuova- in Canareggio. Without a doubt, my favourite restaurant in Venice. I enjoyed my first meal there so much (Aberdeen Angus beef served with apples and chocolate sauce), and the service was excellent too, that I booked here for my 50th Birthday, for a party of 10. Giulio was outstanding in helping me plan this evening, he put together an excellent menu to suit our budget. It was a very memorable night that my friends are still talking about now. Locally sourced food features highly on the menu, traditional Venetian dishes with a contemporary feel. Excellent wine cellar too. The waiters are quite charming, and will recommend wines to accompany the food. The house wine is good too!

    Hostelworld.com says:

Serving up tasty lunches and chic dinners, Algiubagio’s waterfront tables are particularly popular thanks to the great views of San Michele and more. Dinners lean towards the expensive end of the scale, but lunches are a lot more affordable. Sandwiches, salads, pizzas, ice-creams and more all appear on the menu here.

    Location: Fondamente Nuove, Cannaregio 5039.

  • Gran Viale Maria Elisabetta

    Vaishali Vyas says:

Any of the cafes along Gran Viale Maria Elisabetta, Lido. Good food at good prices.
