    Head to the beach

    Venice Beach, Malibu; I would move there.

    Decide Venice Beach is a must; approach it from Santa Monica Beach to appreciate how chaotic it really is. Best thing about LA IMO!

    Take the metro down to Long beach. See the Queen Mary, hang out in Shoreline Village, bar hop on Pine St.

    Amoeba Music in Hollywood; huge store with great albums for $1 or less. Also some rare albums, LP, comic books, movies. Very cheap, very huge. Amazing place.

    Scour the $1 racks at second hand shops on Melrose Ave for amazing vintage gets (think bandcamp tees and hilarious tourist shirts).
