    When in the Old Quarter... you must stop in stop in one or more of their bars and try their pintxos! Pintxos are similar to tapas... but I think that the pintxos in San Sebastián are tastier than many of the tapas that I have had throughout Spain. Safe travels!/p>

    Stay as long as you can. Swim to Santa Clara Island; taking the boat is cheating! And if you have time in the eastern end of the city there is a small cape worth hiking to!

    Great lockers for renting at El Gros beach also with showers and towels. Perfect if you are leaving the town after enjoying yourself at the beach and you can't return to the hotel.

    You can't go to San Sebastián and miss the beaches. Be sure to spend some time at both the family beach and the surfers' beach.

    I greatly enjoyed the walk up Igeldo Mountain to the castle museum at the top. The view from the top of Igeldo Mountain, overlooking San Sebastián and the ocean, is fantastic.
