 The beginning of October is going to be a busy time in the Chinese city of Shanghai of when two of the year’s biggest events are taking place.
The first of these is the Special Olympics World Summer Games which is taking place from 2nd to 11th of October. The event will mark the first time the World Summer Games will be held in Asia, and only the second time they will be held outside the United States. Special Olympics athletes of all ability levels will compete in 25 different Olympic-type and demonstration sports including basketball, judo and volleyball.
The second big event taking place in Shanghai is the Formula One World Championship Chinese Prix which is now scheduled to open in Shanghai International Racing Circuit on October 5. The race is the second to the last stop of the Formula One Race this year, drawing all the top drivers - the rising stars Fernando Alonso，Kimi Räikkönen and Jenson Button. On the occasion, car enthusiasts would not miss this chance to witness a race in the flesh.
