About Noosa

For all the beach lovers out there, this one’s for you. Introducing Noosa; one of the most popular beachside holiday destination within Australia and a hit with backpackers. Expect to be surrounded by jaw-dropping beaches, lakes, national parks all while having your pick of all sorts of things to do and adventure activities.

Hostels in Noosa really do portray the chill / laid back vibe that the Aussie culture is well-known for. Unlike most other locations Noosa has a select few hostels to choose from, whatever your preferred travel style we’re sure you will find a Noosa hostel to suit your needs.

To the future Noosa backpackers, you’ll find hostels dotted throughout the town centre. One huge benefit of staying in hostels more often than not is their centrality and location, which allows you to have access to both great transportation options and activities, and with the backpacker’s accommodation in Noosa this is just the case.

For obvious reasons - thanks to Noosa’s location – this town is a surfing hotspot. Have a sneaky read of the number 1 best surfing beaches in Australia here . In terms of adventure activities, why not try throwing yourself out of a plane at 14,000ft high with breathtaking views from the Glasshouse Mountains all the way to Fraser Island. While you’re in town grab your newly-made hostel friends and race them at the largest and fastest commercial Go-Kart track in Oz, Big Kart Track. You know those days where you feel like riding away into the sunset on a horse, well, if you have one of them while you’re in Noosa you can actually turn that dream into reality with Equathon Horse Riding that offer beach side horse rides.

Public transport is both a convenient and an efficient way to get around Noosa. Sunbus is the main bus service provided around the town. The great thing about this is that a bus can pick you up anywhere on the designated route if it is safe to do so... meaning there is no need to find a "bus stop", talk about convenient! Purchasing yourself a GoCard, an electronic pass that allows you to swipe on and off public transport, will make your life a whole lot easier opposed to purchasing paper tickets for each train or bus journey. On the other hand, car hire is a great way to explore as it gives you more flexibility and freedom to go where you want, when you want.
