Owner behaved horribly. always had bad vibe the place would be better if he wasn't there. I saw a lady come to look around before paying and he told her 'theres lots of hostels in the area, if you've got a problem leave' in a nasty tone and she left sad. so unnecessary but typical of what I saw from him, seems he doesn't even want customers + all common areas and kitchen are locked 12am-8am- so inconvenient. Fines are so high, loss of key/late check out is ~$70, over double other hostels iv seen

The location is awesome! It’s honestly better as the pictures & reviews. Nice outdoor area. Dormrooms totally fine for a hostel. Showers ok but the floor was really uneven

After check out I brought my small suitcase and bag and jacket to the common area while booking my next hostel. I was told by staff twice in 30 minutes that my stuff can't be in that corner. The whole common area was empty, why would you chase me away?? I have stayed in hostels for the past 9 years of my life and never have been chased away like that. For me a hostel = hospitality Also: Very loud radio with oldskool music Waited 10 min for someone to open the door for check in
