Silver Hill is the new guesthousel in the center of the old historical town of Gjirokaster run completely by an Albanian staff. Share the typical food of the region together with us, meet our local friends and take part to our amazing workshops of traditional crockery, Albanian language lessons and Gjirokastritian cooking.

Silver Hill Guesthousel is situated in the heart of Gjirokaster City just 5 minutes’ walk from the famous Gjirokaster Castle and 1 minute from Skenduli House and Enver Hoxha’s former family home and in easy walking distance from all of the tourist spots of Gijirokaster.
The guesthouse itself is a traditional building just newly renovated this year in a modern style but in keeping with the rustic style of the original building. We have a lovely inner garden and a terrace with a lovely view of the castle where our guests can eat breakfast and relax with a coffee.

We have 2 private rooms accommodating 4 people in each room. Lockers and bed linen are provided in all rooms and we provide our guests a free breakfast and morning beverages.

Our Guesthouse has all the modern amenities required for a comfortable stay including a fully equipped kitchen, showers/wet rooms and bathrooms on both floors, electric sockets and lights, etc. for each bed and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Our staff is multi-lingual (English, Japanese, Greek, Italian and of course Albanian) and knowledgeable about the city so are equipped to help you organize your trip around the city and there is staff onsite 24 hours a day which means there is complete security and we can take care of anything you need at any time. Breakfast is included.

Payment upon arrival can be made by cash only, we accept Albanian Lek and euros.
