About

We are and we live in this relatively new, but yet old house with a green and leafy courtyard. The homestay is a spacious and private room on the first floor with a small terrace and view over the rooftops of Sang-e Siyah district. We live on the first floor and our cat Pus has a warm place in the courtyard.

Samovar house is located in the heart of city, district 9 - famous as Sang E Siah, one the oldest part of Shiraz. It’s only 10 minutes walk to main holy shrine of Shiraz and Vakil Bazaar. Metro station is just close to citadel which is 10 minutes walk from Samovar house. In the neighbourhood there is a fascinating suffi place and old mosque in front of Armenian Church. The Karandish bus terminal is about 20 minutes walk and airport is 15 minutes drive by car.

Samovar House is our home and we would like you to feel here at home as well. The Russian side of our household is Maria, a Moscow native, and she is studying Persian literature in the University of Shiraz. Peyman, aka Mrpersepolis, is a tour guide with many years of experience. He is the man to ask anything about Shiraz. In Samovar House you are welcome to our homey breakfast, warm tea and most importantly Peyman’s mom’s delicious marmalade. In Samovar House you are welcome to cook your own meals and we will happily tell you about Iranian cuisine. One of Shiraz’s oldest and most fascinating fruit, vegetables and fish bazaars is just a few minutes away.

Samovar House Policies and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
