I would say it is a "good enough" hostel. The best thing about it is the location, right in the middle of the city center. However, I was surprised how quiet it was despite that. The social scene needs a lot of work though. Still, it's cheap and good if you are on a budget.

Stayed here for the 2nd time. The hostel is very nice, lots of facilities and elegant building. Reasonable price. The matrasses are thin, cheap, and not the most comfortable.

Hostelworld says

Malaga is a city known in equal measure for its culture and party atmosphere, and the Feel Hostel City Centre is the ideal spot to explore it from. As many guests attest to, it?s a hostel with a lot of charm. It?s lively but not raucous, with a cocktail bar where you can easily make new friends. It?s also only a stone?s throw away from all the most famous sights, like the Picasso museum (Malaga?s favourite son) and cathedral. The beach bars aren?t too far away either, so you won?t be short of things to do, day or night.
