Dar Benares is 400 years old, and it was carefully restored over the period of two years, using only traditional materials and craftsmanship typical of Fez. The property has lovely sculpted plasterwork, handmade Zellij mosaic, painted wood, and crafted cedar wooden doors and ceilings.

Dar Benares fits six people. It has two double bedrooms, and one single bedroom, with master beds and spacious wardrobes. All rooms have air-conditioning, which can be used to heat or cool the bedrooms for a more restful sleep. The house also has two luxurious bathrooms; one of which has a giant circular copper bath. All bedrooms and bathrooms are in the second floor.

It has three bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms – one of which has a giant circular copper bath - easily big enough for two (if you wish to share!), the other en-suit bathroom has an invigorating rain shower. There is superb zelige (traditional Moroccan tiling) on floors and walls, and all rooms are laid out with rugs for more softness under your feet.
