Our La Villa de la Soledad B & B's unique location near the Pico Bonito National Park and the Cangrejal River offers greenery and an invigorating setting.

Each of the rooms at our bed and breakfast opens to a spacious outdoor porch with hammocks and garden furniture for creating your own natural environment.


La Villa de Soledad is a unique Bed and Breakfast located on the Rio Cangrejal. Only 8 km. (5 miles) from the City of La Ceiba, you will feel that you are in a remote, unspoiled location. The forests of the Pico Bonito National Park, located across the river, with a network of jungle trails await for you to explore and discover its secrets.

Access to the park is via a 120 meter (400 foot) suspension bridge that crosses high over the white water of the Cangrejal River, famous for its World Class rafting and kayaking in class III, IV and V rapids. This bridge is located a brief 4 minute walk from your hotel room.

For full day options, adventuring a little farther away, Cayos Cochinos (The Hog Cays) and the Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge offer outstanding opportunities for a great adventure and unique wildlife sites.

At night, you will be lulled into a deep sleep by the sound of the rushing white waters of the Cangrejal River on their race towards the nearby Caribbean Sea. Daybreak is preceded by the chirping and singing of a variety of birds, who happily announce the birth of a new day in the tropics!

The refreshing, crystal clear waters offer the opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery and lush vegetation.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. The first night will be charged as penalty for later cancellations or no-shows.

Check-in from 15:00. Please contact the Hotel in case of later arrival than expected upon booking, as we don't have 24 hours reception.
