Amed also has salt farms, where salt is made by drying seawater in palm-trunk troughs.\r\n\r\nTirta Gangga, a royal water palace with fountains and stepping stones, and Lempuyang Temple, with its 'Gates of Heaven' framing Mount Agung, are nearby.
