Start your day by heading up to Langelinie. To get there, you can either try out Copenhagen\u2019s extensive public transport system and catch an S-Train or alternatively pick up one of the city bikes. When you arrive, check out the pier area where the big cruise ships dock and visit the world-famous statue of the Little Mermaid<\/b>.<\/p>\n
From here it\u2019s a short trip back down towards Rosenborg Castle<\/b>, the King\u2019s Gardens<\/b> and theRound Tower<\/b>. From the top of this tower on Kobermagergade, you\u2019ll be treated to stunning views out across Copenhagen. After that, hop on one of the canal boat tours<\/b> from Nyhavn<\/b>. These take you all around Copenhagen, while the tour guides provide interesting titbits of information about the city.<\/p>\n
Spend some of your hard earned cash along Copenhagen\u2019s main shopping drag. Stroget<\/b> is made up of a number of different streets, and is home to both well-known local stores and famous international brand names. There are also a number of great restaurants and bars dotted along this stretch, offering great options for dinner and for some post-food drinks too.<\/p>\n

Hop on an S-Train and head out to Charlottelund<\/b>. Here you can check out the beautiful beaches, take a dip in the ocean, walk in the Charlottelund Park<\/b> and visit Danmarks Akvarium<\/b>. This aquarium is home to more than 300 species of fish from sharks to anemones.<\/p>\n
On the way back to the city, stop off at Hellerup<\/b>. Not only can you wander along by the sea here, but you can also visit the Experimentarium<\/b>. This science centre is both enlightening and entertaining, with the interactive exhibits providing lots of enjoyment. Hellerup is also home to a number of classy boutiques and stores.<\/p>\n
When you get back to the city centre, check out the Straedet<\/b>. Here you\u2019ll find a number of top restaurants such as Riz Raz<\/b>. There\u2019s some great bars in and around this area too, including The Moose<\/b> on Svaertegade.<\/p>\n

No visit to Copenhagen is complete without a trip to Christiania<\/b>. This \u2018free town\u2019 came into existence in 1971 and is built around the ideas of communal living and alternative lifestyles. Check out the stalls, art and music, or just have a wander around to get a feel of this bohemian haven.<\/p>\n
From here, head back towards the city proper and visit the National Museet<\/b>. This museum is home to a huge number of interesting attractions. Nearby you\u2019ll find Tivoli Gardens<\/b>, one of the world\u2019s oldest amusement parks. Spend the afternoon here and check out the world\u2019s highest carousel, along with many other rides, 3 open-air stages and much more.<\/p>\n
In and around this area, you\u2019ll find a number of top notch bars and restaurants. Head to Rosie McGee\u2019s<\/b> on Vesterbrogade for some Mexican food and then head out further into the Vesterbro district until you come across Vega Musikkens Hus<\/b>, which is both a great bar and one of the city\u2019s best live music venues.<\/p>\n
